Activity : Daily Mental Health Check In
Purpose: We use a thermometer to check our body temperature—so why not one for our mind? This quick check-in helps you understand your mental health temperature and see how you’re really doing today.
Activity : Stop-Scrolling Reset
Purpose: Interrupt overstimulation and bring attention back to your present moment
1. Put your phone face-down or lock the screen
2. Take 5 slow breaths
Inhale through the nose
Exhale slowly through the mouth
3. Read and complete this sentence:
“Right now, I feel ___, and that’s okay.”
4. Choose one simple next action:
Drink water
Stretch
Begin homework
Take a short walk
5. Relax and Let it go
Purpose: Calm your body and mind when you feel anxious, distracted, or overwhelmed
1. Sit comfortably and place both feet on the floor
2. Take 3 slow breaths
Inhale through the nose
Exhale slowly through the mouth
3. Name 3 things you can see around you
4. Name 3 things you can feel in your body
(feet on the floor, hands on your lap, chair support)
5. Now Say silently to yourself:
“ I am safe. This is just a moment and will pass. Nothing is constant."
6. Relax your shoulders and continue with your day
7. Let go of any negative thoughts
8. You are all set for a brand new day Tomorrow.
